Patriotism and Enthusiasm at Inauguration in USA

I think these two words are the big differences of politics between USA and Japan .
I mean the American people have strong civic consciousness than Japanese people.
They are always interested in the politics and join it.
They always feel that they are "Americans" in the United states.

Today, the New president "Mr. Obama" was coming to the inauguration.
Could you drop your tears for the president or prime minister?
I thought the power of patriotism in USA is always and will be stronger than ever.

On the other hand, this was the first time that I felt extremely nervous.
Though I knew the security was perfect, I was worried if an assassin shoot him when he shows up the Captal but he was welcome truly.

His speech was also great.
I hope strongly that he rejoin the Kyoto Protocol and promote the green deal.

I took an African-American Literature seminor when I was a junior college student.
I can understand how the African-Americans were long-awaited.
The Dreams of Martin L. King Jr. had been deprived by the violence and Malcom X also.
African-Americans have many unbearable experiences in their history.
But today, I expect that the color would be gone away.

I hope the world will become peace and joy.

Half-day trip!!

Last weekend, I took a half-day trip to Enoshima.
Today, I am going to release some videos from Enoshima!!

First, I took a odakyu-line and got off the train at Katase Enoshima Station.
The design of the building is quite unique! All right, here we go!

On the way to Enoshima Island,
You can feel balmy breeze from the sea! Hummm.
It was shiny sunny day, so I could see Mt. Fuji clearly! Can you see?

Well, this is Enoshima shrine. Enoshima shrine consists of three shrines.
Hetsunomiya(辺津宮), Nakatsunomiya(中津宮), Okutsunomiya(奥津宮)
Each shrine is dedicated to the goddesses of the sea.
The building was build in 1206 by a Buddhist monk, Ryoshin(良真)
and rebuilt in 1976.
Many people were coming and praying at first in the New Year, 2009.
This praying is a traditional Japanese custom.

Now I show you famous snack in Enoshima!
